Now he tours the world giving seminars and gets creative with business, launching pop-up salon experiences everywhere from Formula One to London Fashion Week. "Although I don't like to consider myself a competitive person I like to use competitions to test my skills and my Knowledge each year to be better than the last," he says."

Velsvoir
Velsvoir officially partnered with Louis Maharaj to head up our London Fashion Week Mens Presentation for AW16 and Louis has since been a key feature in building the brands image. His natural ability to create and deliver bespoke hairstyles worked perfectly for the Velsvoir aesthetic owing to the brands foundations in model diversity and inclusivity. His attention to detail and creativity to bring a designers vision to life is what makes Louis a real asset to the fashion and hair industry. As well as leading hair for Velsvoir during Fashion Week since 2016, Louis has also played a pivotal role in producing campaigns for the brand each season through Lookbook’s in both still and film format.

"London Fashion Week Men’s is one of Louis’s happy places, working backstage on shows such as E.Tautz, Chester Barrie and Mathew Miller.
In 2018 he headed up his first show for Velsvoir, returning to the label for S/S20 to capture the essence of the jet set age. His work has been seen in Vouge and GQ, and his reputation saw him scouted to be a judge for Russian Barber Week in Moscow, translating his Fashion mojo for an international audience."
